Owner and Founder, Susan Markatos

Susan Markatos initially worked within the hospitality industry. In 1983, Susan founded Markatos Services. The company began as a small, local residential cleaning company based out of Wilmington, DE. As an independent cleaner, she quickly grew her customer base from 100% referrals. As customers raved about her amazing, quality service and attention to detail, Susan began her journey as a female business owner and entrepreneur.

Sales Manager, Nichole Maisano

Daughter of Susan and Harry Markatos, Nichole Maisano, has been with the company from an early age. From cleaning homes with her mother to managing daily operations, Nichole has become the company's go-to customer service representative. With her mom's attention to detail and her personable approach with clients, she dedicates her time to serving customers’ needs. Nichole will assist you with cleaning estimates at any time.

Our History

In 1983, Susan Markatos founded Markatos Services. The company began as a small, local residential cleaning company based out of Wilmington, DE. In February 2004, Harry Markatos joined the company as part-owner, creating a family-owned and operated business. The company grew within the next few years, offering commercial cleaning, window washing, pressure washing, and handyman services. Markatos Services now services New Castle County, DE and Delaware County, PA.
